In November of 2011, we moved into our home. We originally moved in with the plan to rent a few years, then buy it. A few years turned into almost 7 years. June 2018, we finally closed on the sale!
Over the years of living here, we did some cosmetic touch ups, but nothing major (as it still belonged to someone else). Now that we own it though, we have a fix it list a mile long!
This blog will be essentially a reno diary. We do a lot of DIY. We love a good bargain. Thus, Budget Fixer Upper is born.
We'll start the show with some pics from move in day. The previous tenants left a lot of furniture and garbage, as seen in the following.
